I went to the website and there is a lot to go through. So I picked "the fine tuning of the universe" video to watch and I found it to be totally without merit.

The basic argument was if physical laws were slightly different, then it would be impossible for life to exist. Assuming their data is correct, there is absolutely no data or even argument given about why those laws had to be set in place by a supernatural power. Furthermore, even if those laws were set by a supernatural power, there is no argument given why that power/force needs to be "god."

The video went into disingenuous territory at the end, when they took out of context statements from famous scientists, some of whom were very prominent atheists, to make it seem like they thought that the because physical laws exists the way they do, they had to be created by god.

The low quality and disingenuous nature of that video has turned me off from looking at any more of their material.

IF there isn't a God/Creator, and we were created by chance, luck, the big bang, or however you want to put it, I do not believe there is life elsewhere

When you consider how perfectly everything had to come together for life to begin here, like a once in eternity type of events or events, then the chances that it also happened again elsewhere, is not realistic in my opinion

There are a ton of goldielock zones in this universe .
And just because we need these certain conditions to exist does not mean other living things need the same exact conditions .

This universe is so huge you can have 2 galaxies with billions of stars in each galaxy and most starts at least 100 times the size of earth And the 2 galleries collide with each other and not a single star collides with another star

the odds of there not being more then us is minuscule

Interesting.

As far as other, alien, life is concerned theories are difficult to test because the universe is so vast there's a good chance we'd never find it even if it did exist.

I'm inclined to believe that the conditions that promote life are more frequent than you think, but that's just a slightly informed hunch. Unless/until technology improves to the point where humans can travel millions of light years in a short amount of time we'll likely never know.

Are you interested in showing a logical proof that god exists, or do you just want to throw shade at people who disagree with you?

Yes the universe is massive, or even eternal for all we know.
And yes there are conditions out there that exist that could SUPPORT life elsewhere

But that does not mean life has been ignited, sparked, or triggered anywhere besides here.
Because if we were not created, something with astronomical odds had to have happened for it to begin

There is a Christian Scientist who used this analogy as to how impossible it is that life began on it's own:

There's a large junkyard of retired/abandoned airplanes.
A Tornado passes through.
Once the storm has passed, somehow some or all of the planes are assembled back together again.
And, not only are they put back together, but now they RUN as well

Sounds ridiculous & absurd right?

Well that's exactly how ridiculous & absurd the odds are of what happened with the creation of life here (If no creator) and how unrealistic it is that it's happened a 2nd time or more

Just my opinion
